Nice antique oil on canvas of a gentleman with emerald ring. Original frame, painting was relined around the turn of the century. Red gypsum primer noticeable at top corner. No tears but has a heavy craquelure throughout the painting. In-painting is present under UV light, particularly around the face. Beautiful serene expression on this younger gentleman. Probably a cleric.
